Women Health and Breast Cancer Conference

Women face unique health problems because of biological, social, and behavioral causes. Even though certain health conditions impact men and women equally, women can be affected differently. Women face health problems such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, pregnancy, menopause, and diseases of the female organs due to their special anatomy. PCOS, mental wellbeing, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and anemia are only a few of the problems that women face. It's important to consider why women are at such a high risk for everything from heart disease to breast cancer to depression.

Every pregnancy carries the challenge of ensuring a safe environment for both mother and child. The high rate of maternal mortality is widely used as a barometer for measuring the efficiency of health-care systems, and it represents inequalities in access to health-care services across global borders. Despite numerous steps, according to WHO, nearly 830 women die every day from preventable causes linked to pregnancy and childbirth. Cancer is another significant health issue that mainly affects women. Breast cancer and cervical cancer are two of the most common cancers in women around the world. Early detection of cancers such as breast cancer is vital to keeping women alive and well.

In the early stages of breast cancer, there may be no signs. In certain cases, a tumor is too small to be identified, but an abnormality on a mammogram can still be seen. It's important to remember that the majority of breast lumps are benign and not cancerous. Although benign breast lumps aren't life-threatening, some types of benign breast lumps raise a woman's risk of breast cancer. To minimize cancer-related suffering and deaths, effective services for early detection, screening, rehabilitation, and palliative care are needed.

To achieve health equality over the lifetime and across diverse cultures, each woman must have access to knowledge about her reproductive health as well as all aspects of her body. Participate in i-Women Health 2024 to experience the booming industry and expose your career and company to new opportunities from around the world.
